18 weeks 1 day belly shots!

Did 2 weeks make a difference??



I know I sure feel like it did!!!!

Two more weeks until we find out if this is a little girl or little boy that has taken over my body!!!

Today is my nephew, Jasper's, 3rd birthday!! We spent all day yesterday at Disneyland and today we will celebrate with cake and ice cream and of course, presents!!!

About 3 days ago on my drive home from work, I definitely felt the baby moving in me!! It happened again the following day after lunch when I was sitting at my desk at work... Yesterday was much too busy of a day and I did not feel the gummy bear. I am going to take it easy all day and afternoon and try to recreate the position I was sitting in when I felt the baby. It is all so exciting!!!

Somehow we are taking belly pics every other Sunday, I will switch to my turnover day, which is Saturday so from here on out they will be on the 2oth, 22nd, etc week of the pregnancy. I know I will be anxious to share our news on 2/2 after the BIG ultrasound, so I will for sure be back to post then!!

16 Week OB Appointment

AUNTIE SHANNON GOT TO SEE THE BABY!!

Today was my 16 week OB appointment and Shannon took me since I was having blood drawn and can sometimes be a wimp. I have to admit that I am getting better. I do fine as long as I do not see the needle or anything related to the process, before, during, or after. This is good for me since I usually get all worked up just thinking about it and knowing it is being done!! Yay for three blood draws with no fainting!! Guess I am not the baby anymore, this little one in me is!!

We did not think the doctor was going to do an ultrasound, but he said "Why not?" and has the machine right there in the office, so I think we may be fortunate enough to see the baby every appointment. We scheduled the next appointment for February 2nd!! And this is the BIG one where the Dr. will try and see if we are pink or blue!!!

As soon as we hear back from the insurance regarding an approval code, we will make the appointment for the comprehensive ultrasound at the Radiology office. This is the one where they check and make sure the baby is developing fine, that the spine is fine, facial structure etc. We are going to try and have this on the same day as mommy and daddy are both playing hooky from work in hopes of a BOY or GIRL verdict ceebration!!!!

I am going to start taking monthly pictures of my belly starting on Saturday, which is the 16 week mark. :) Daddy will have to assist. :)

More soon!! Also, the latest print ups of the Ultrasound were not very spectacular but I will post them as soon as I get 'em scanned!
